Unparalleled Objectives exhibit launches May 5 at Katara Art Center. This exhibit explores Middle Eastern current state culture and identifies aspects of how culture is affected by the postmodern condition.

“unparalleled objectives 2012”
For the first time CHRISTTO SANZ “new contemporary photographer/artist” will be collaborating with myself in a project that has been developed in order to adapt Christto’s style to be influential in the Middle East. The project portrays personas that reflect the post-modern condition which in a situation of globalization.In our current state of globalization Christto and Andrew find connections between their homeland and the current culture that they are in. Being global citizens they reflect elements of modern day society, cultural implications of the current state of our societies around the world, its misconceptions that we have developed in primitive bureaucratic systems that we are forced into.
The esthetic of the photos have a energetic, colorful and 60’s feeling. This is to portray the birth of globalization and how it has impacted and skewed our realities and the realities that others live in.

Takashi Murakami in Qatar
Takashi Murakami will be coming to Doha soon for those of you who do not know it yet.The exhibition will be one of his biggest ever and see some of his greatest works. The exhibition will take place at Al Riwaq near to the Islamic Museum organized by Qatar Museums Authority.
