“The Factory of Good Intentions” 2013. Presents a photograph representing a world of ever growing interconnectedness yet greater possibilities of exclusion and the ability of creating your own reality and sense of identity. This photo seeks to address the inclusion and separation of ideas constituted by the current transition of Qatar. It analyses Qatar in comparison to the current global structure. It explores the essence of the “uniform” which often forms a representation of a certain social group and encapsulates its characteristics to form the basis of creating unity yet at the same time the ability of being segregated from others. It also represents a world of repetition and mass production where it is often hard to distinguish the original from the replica .The photo forms part of a larger body of work which includes components of local society and seeks to point out stereotypes and present them through a contemporary art medium.
